Social And Behavioral Skills

Many individuals with special needs benefit from the use of picture cards to communicate social and behavioral skills and expectations.  Picture cards are particularly effective for those individuals who have trouble processing verbally delivered information and conceptualizing abstract concepts.  Picture cards can convert abstract concepts such as “share with others” or “don’t be aggressive” into more concrete, visual forms.
